AutoRek joins inaugural Sunday Times Scotland Fast 50 as revenues grow 30% year on year
AutoRek, a leading provider of automated reconciliation and financial controls solutions, has been named in The Sunday Times Scotland Fast 50, the annual ranking of Scotland’s fastest-growing independent companies.
The Fast 50 recognizes privately-owned, Scotland-headquartered businesses that have achieved average annual revenue growth of more than 20% across the last two financial years.
AutoRek’s inclusion reflects a sustained period of expansion under CEO Chris Livesey, with revenue growing 30% year on year since a significant growth equity investment from Scottish Equity Partners in 2021. That growth has extended internationally, with the company opening a new office in Miami to accelerate its push into the North American market. The period has also seen significant investment in leadership, with the recent appointments of Tony Livesey as Chief Technology & Product Officer and Jonathan Cathie as Chief Operating Officer.
Founded in Glasgow in 1994, AutoRek now employs more than 190 people across five offices, serves over 100 clients in 12 countries, and processes $4 trillion in annual transactions across banking, payments, insurance and investment management. The company has created 50 new jobs in the last two years and plans to recruit a further 52 in 2026, with 80% of those roles based in Scotland.
“This recognition reflects the commitment of everyone at AutoRek,” said Chris Livesey, CEO of AutoRek. “Scotland is where we were founded and where the majority of our team is based. Being named among the country’s fastest-growing businesses is a reflection of our ambition, and a marker of how far we have come as we continue to scale internationally.”
